The house rules
What we publish against
A recommendation is only worth something if nobody paid for it. These rules hold from the first page.
-
No paid rankings
Nobody can buy a place in a list or a better score. Affiliate links, where they exist, are marked and never affect a verdict.
How we make money → -
Used before it is scored
We do not score anything we have used for less than two weeks, and every guide says whether its steps were performed or researched.
How we test → -
Corrections in public
When we get something wrong, the fix is dated and logged on its own page. Prices carry the date they were checked.
